Pipe World is...drum roll...

done.

The ink is still dry though. I haven't really decided on the registration system I want to use. From what I have seen, many successful indie developers accept payment through a register like BMT Micro and send a download link to the full version of the game. Although that method is really weak, they still make a bunch of money.

I know early on I decided this to be a portal game, but I would like to try selling it myself first or at least do direct sales. I don't think you could be considered a real game developer if you don't even sell the software with your own name on it for christ sake.

Maybe some new screens are in order =:D

I was a plumber for several years. Digging through other people's crap, unplugging drains. Donning a pair of rubber hip waders and descending into a rancid, stinking sump to fix a broken pump. Scooping greasy, black, dripping gobs of a hair from the drain of a hair salon that foolishly did not use screens on their sink drains. Crawling through attics heated to 145 degrees F by the Phoenix summer sun, soldering copper with a torch that heats it up a few degrees more. Looking at screenies of your game brings it all back, but the shiny happy colors keep the memories from being too painful. If I wasn't so psychologically damaged by my experience, I'd be the first on the list to D/L your game. [grin]

Seriously, though, it looks pretty sweet and good job on finishing.

It looks fantastic; I can't wait to try it out! Do you have a Mac OS version, or will it be Windows only?

I'm assuming your test character is called "LOLZ", and that isn't the default welcome message everyone sees on the main menu [grin].
